Oracle9i Certified Database Administrator

Oracle Certified Database Administrator was developed by Oracle Corporation to certify professionals who can demonstrate the depth of knowledge and hands-on skills required to support Oracle's products.

The Oracle Certified Database Administrator Program begins with the Associate level, Oracle Certified Associates (OCA).. At this skill level, OCA has the foundation of knowledge that will allow him/her to act as a junior team member working with database administrators or application developers. To become an OCA you must pass all required exams.

The second step is to become the highly respected Oracle Certifed Professional (OCP). Oracle Certified Professionals have proven skills managing a large-scale database or developing robust applications that are deployed enterprise-wide. To become an Oracle Certified Professional, you must pass all required exams.

What are the Prerequisites for Oracle Certified Database Administrator (OCA and/or OCP)?

Prior to OCA and/or OCP courses the applicants have to know Windows 95/98 and Programming Logic. An applicant without the above knowledge will find it very difficult to proceed.

Exam Requirements

The following tables show the exams and the corresponding course for OCA and OCP to become Oracle Certified Database Administrator. Our courses are designed to help the applicants to acquire the required hands-on skills and knowledge to successfully pass these exams. The exams are administered by Prometric™ an independent testing organization, with locations worldwide. You can take your exams at Computer Institute.
